A Clash of Kings 8.0 Download: How to Install and Play the Game of Thrones Mod for Mount and Blade: Warband
If you are a fan of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, or the HBO adaptation Game of Thrones, you might be interested in playing a mod that lets you experience the epic fantasy world in a different way. A Clash of Kings is a modification for Mount and Blade: Warband, a popular medieval sandbox RPG that allows you to create your own character, join factions, fight battles, siege castles, trade, quest, and more.
A Clash of Kings is based on the second book of A Song of Ice and Fire, and it features a massive new world map that spans Westeros and Essos, with over 20 factions to join or fight against, such as The North, The Stormlands, Dorne, The Night's Watch, Volantis, and Braavos. You can also encounter hundreds of new NPCs, many of them based on the characters from the books and the show, such as Tywin Lannister, Robb Stark, Stannis Baratheon, Daenerys Targaryen, and more.

The mod also adds hundreds of new scenes, items, weapons, armors, sounds, music, events, quests, and features that enhance the immersion and gameplay. You can fight wights beyond the Wall, sail across the Narrow Sea, use wildfire in battles, hire sellswords, participate in tournaments, witness invasions, and even try to claim the Iron Throne for yourself.
The latest version of the mod is 8.0, which was released in February 2020. It includes many improvements and changes from previous versions, such as:
New story-driven quests that involve major characters and factions
New invading factions that can change the balance of power in Westeros
New scenes for castles, towns, villages, and landmarks
New items, armors, weapons, shields, and horses
New companions with unique backgrounds and personalities
New tweaks and changes to gameplay mechanics, such as combat, diplomacy, economy, trade, recruitment, etc.
New body-sliding feature that allows you to customize your character's appearance
New UI elements that make navigation easier
New shaders and terrain textures that improve graphics quality
And much more!
